Secretary/Treasurer of Anarra
Brief info
Debbie Seal has had a life long involvement with environmental care and restoration, having worked in this field for the last 30+ years for non-profit organizations including Landcare and the Mary River Catchment Coordinating Committee, as well as creating habitat for wildlife on two properties at Cooran and Tamaree.
Over the last 15 years, Debbie has volunteered for Wildcare Australia on their 24 hour wildlife rescue hotline, as well as rescuing sick, orphaned and injured wildlife in the Gympie region. With a professional background in administration, finance, and marketing, Debbie took on the role of Secretary/Treasurer of ANARRA in 2018, to help Paula and David and the group deal with the administrative challenges of running a non-profit community organization. The group is now registered for GST, and will soon be listed with the Federal Government on the Register of Environmental Organisations, which will enable donations made to the group to be tax-deductible.
